375 cans from West Little Rock’s Primrose School are donated to the Arkansas Foodbank
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas Foodbank received 375 canned items from the Primrose School in West Little Rock.
The West Little Rock location’s initiatives are a part of Primrose’s Caring & Giving Initiative, according to the school company.
Under the program, kids are encouraged to perform age-appropriate household duties to earn allowance money that may be used to purchase canned goods. Additionally, it aids in the teaching of giving without expecting anything in return, which is reportedly a crucial part of the Balanced Learning curriculum at Primrose Schools.
“Nurturing generosity in young children is an investment in the future of our society,” said Jo Kirchner, CEO of Primrose Schools. “At Primrose Schools, we believe that teaching children the value of giving, sharing and caring is a cornerstone of early education. And, by educating children to be service-minded and to give without expectation, we are working together toward a brighter future of caring, community-oriented citizens.”
