8-year-old boy now at home after spending 5 months in the hospital due to a burn injury

Warren, Arkansas – The 8-year-old burn victim’s family is beaming as he leaves the hospital after 5 months of recuperation.
On August 9th, 2022, Jayceon Charles was burned while visiting a friend’s home on Bradley County Road 280 in Warren, Arkansas.
His mother, Lakiesha Belin, claims that as a result of his burns, he required a ventilator, experienced kidney failure, brain damage, several surgeries, and even underwent coding twice.
“I’m just glad and thank god he was able to come home,” said Belin.
Jayceon said that he was most eager to get back to playing basketball and playing video games at home.
Jayceon could only demonstrate his abilities in video games because he is still developing his walking and talking.
Belin reports that although her kid has started moving, he still needs physical and occupational treatment.
“We still got a long way to go but we gone get there.”
Belin claims Jayceon has only provided her information that she already knew from August 9th when she is finally able to speak. This is due to the fact that a fire broke out as the family Jayceon was with was cooking outside.
Jayceon’s family, according to Belin, didn’t call the police, and she herself drove him to the hospital.
The family is perplexed as to why help from the authorities wasn’t summoned in this situation.
The incident is being looked into by the Arkansas State Police.
