A second-grader killed in an accident is mourned by the Little Rock school

Little Rock, Arkansas – The loss of a second-grader who died in a car accident earlier this week is being felt by Southwest Christian Academy.

Nel’ Taiyah Green, a cherished student, was killed in the collision along with her mother and sibling, according to a school representative.

Morrilton High School laments the death of a student-athlete in an automobile accident.
The entire school community is in mourning for this “profound” loss, a spokesman said in a social media statement.

We will sincerely miss Nel’ Taiyah, a beloved member of our SCA family, and her joyful energy. We send our sincerest condolences to everyone who knew and loved her. We pray for her instructor and her fellow students.

Her brother, CJ Clemons of Southwest Christian Academy, was also killed in the collision. Clemons played varsity basketball for the Devil Dogs while he was a junior at Morrilton High School.

The mother’s identity and the cause of the collision have not been made public by authorities.
