After three days in a manhole, a guy is rescued by the Little Rock Fire Department
Little Rock, Arkansas – In Little Rock, there are six manholes for ditch drainage next to a bridge on South University. A man had been stuck in one for three days, according to a report made to the Little Rock Fire Department on Sunday.
Rescue personnel discovered one of the hole lids partially removed when they arrived, according to fire captain Doug Coffman.
According to Coffman, “he had actually lowered himself down in that hole after tying two blankets together.” “He was unable to reach the first blanket to pull himself back out after one of the blankets untied.”
According to Coffman, it’s a strange call that he has never received. But after being trapped more than 20 feet down for three days, the man was recovered with assistance from the North Little Rock Fire Department.
“He said that he had spent two nights down there so quite a long time,” Coffman said, adding, “and we were able to just lower a ladder down and he climbed out.
Coffman stated that he is aware that the individual was unhurt, but he is unsure of how someone discovered that he was down there.
According to Coffman, “As far as I know, everything checked out fine and he was not taken to the hospital.”
