An extraordinary gift causes an Arkansas youngster with cancer to become popular on TikTok

Heber Springs, Arkansas – The response of a teenage girl from Arkansas to a wonderful present has gone viral.

The video of Kaylee Walker getting surprised with a free wig she planned to buy has been viewed by almost 5.5 million people.

She explained that the reason it meant so much to her was that it made her smile, which has been difficult for her to do since learning two years ago that she had osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer.

Walker, who is 13 years old, said getting ready takes up a significant portion of her day. Her chemotherapy caused her hair to fall out and made grades six and seven more challenging.

“With hair, I feel like I’ll just be seen and treated more normal—I used to get stared at a lot,” Walker remarked. “All I want is for them to see me as who I am.”

That’s why she drove almost 500 miles to Georgia Hair Solutions on Wednesday, August 14, before classes resume.

All of her colleagues were impressed by her kindness and professionalism, according to Diana Cowen, owner of Georgia Hair Solutions.

Cowen stated, “She just had a personality that we all fell in love with.”

For one of the wigs Walker requested, the staff contributed. Her entire emotional response was captured on camera. Additionally, millions of people donated to purchase her the second wig she desired after seeing the video on TikTok.
