Arkansas Blood Institute organizes a fundraiser to help people in need

Little Rock, Arkansas – Winter weather raises the need for blood donors every year. Extra efforts are being made this year to recruit donations.
On Saturday, the Arkansas Blood Institute held a blood drive at McCain Mall in an effort to replenish the quantity that the local hospitals require.
The Arkansas Blood Institute’s Carvin Brown Jr. stated that the need for blood has become urgent.
“We are moving from a blood emergency into a critical need right now. So we are really pushing for everyone to come out and donate and support and get our blood supply back up to where it needs to be.”
Every blood type is required.
