Arkansas hits nearly 8,000 active Covid-19 cases, almost 900 new cases reported on Wednesday
Arkansas – Arkansas Department of Health released their latest daily Covid-19 report on Wednesday.
According to the report, Arkansas added a total of 897 new cases on Wednesday and now the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic is 545,934.
Additionally, 10 more deaths were reported and the total number of Covid-19 related deaths since the start of the pandemic now reaches 9,007.
The number of total active cases was increased by 391 since Tuesday and the total number of active cases now sits at 7,962.
There are 494 people treated in hospital which is two less compared to the day before. However, the number of people on ventilator support increased by 2 and now reaches 98.
In the last 24 hours, 11,511 doses of the Covid-19 vaccines were administrated across the state which is great as we approach the holidays season.
Counties with the most reported cases are:
- Craighead – 145 cases
- Pulaski – 114 cases
- Benton – 85 cases
