Arkansas men charged with murder in the September Camden shooting

Camden, Arkansas – Four men from Arkansas are accused of murder for their participation in a shooting in Camden in September.
The charges against 18-year-old Keaton Arnold, 23-year-old Tyrese Henry, 22-year-old Carlton Henry, and 22-year-old Zykeial Gulley include 36 counts of committing a terrorist act, aggravated residential burglary, first-degree battery, two counts of aggravated assault, and capital murder, according to authorities. The accusations are related to a gunshot that happened on John Street in Camden on September 6, 2022.
In response to reports of a probable gunshot, Camden police were sent to a residence on John Street on September 6, 2022, just before 9:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found Andretti Austin, 24, dead in the house’s driveway.
The homeowner was reportedly shot in the upper back as well and sent to a nearby hospital. When the homeowner’s wife was questioned by the police, she revealed that her husband and their 2-year-old child were inside the house when many people showed up at the back door.
At gunpoint, the suspects allegedly told the wife to kneel down while firing multiple shots into the house. The suspects fled the scene when they realized the homeowner was armed. When the victims left the house, they discovered Austin, another suspect, dead on the grounds.
Gulley was detained on September 7, 2022, by police after they later identified him as a suspect in the crime. Police claim that Gulley told them that on the day of the shooting, he met a group of individuals, among them Austin, in Carver Courts.
The conversation was about “hitting a lick.” The group holding the talk was made up of Tyrese, Carlton, Arnold, and four other young people, according to Gulley.
Gulley told police that the gang had notified them that he did not want to participate and that, during the shooting, he was staying at his home on Lucas Street. He continued by claiming that while traveling down Country Club Road, he heard many gunshots and afterward encountered the suspects.
He alleged that he turned down the suspects’ offer to ride along with them in their car when they requested him to. Reports state that, with the exception of the suspects, several aspects of Gulley’s interview changed.
Tyrese allegedly acknowledged accidentally shooting Austin during the incident, according to Gulley. Arnold was detained on September 9, 2022, and provided officials with a similar account of the crime while denying taking part in it.
Two minors who are accused of being murder accomplices are being held in jail. Tyrese, Gulley, Arnold, Carlton, and they are all being held without bail.
