Arkansas organization releases a children’s recycling storybook

Little Rock, Arkansas – A newly released children’s book from the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission aims to educate young readers on the value of recycling and litter prevention.

On Thursday, January 25, Pulaski Heights Elementary presented a live reading of the novel “The Messy Garden Mystery” by the group and Arkansas PBS.

The book takes readers on an expedition and teaches them what it takes to keep the Natural State gleaming bright with the aid of Otto the Otter and his new buddy Marta.

Shea Lewis, Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism, stated, “That’s the idea here, to let young Arkansans know that we have a special place to live.” “We want to preserve it in its beautiful, natural state forever.”

There is no cost associated with the book.
