Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas State Fair announced that the is coming back to Little Rock this October after being closed last year due to pandemic. The event in October will last 10 days.
The fair is set to take place from October 15-24, the General Manager Doug White said. As every year, there will be multiple attractions during the fair including midway with rides and games, an enhanced food court, free attractions, fair queen and youth talent competitions, music concerts, exhibits and the long-standing livestock show.
“We have been working feverishly preparing for a full fair with safety protocols in place in consideration of COVID-19,” stated White. “We believe it’s time to get back to a state fair experience that Arkansans have come to expect and enjoy.”
On average, almost 450,000 people are visiting the fair. Since it has been canceled last year, organizers expect even more attendees this year.
