Arrested suspect who was barricaded inside his home

North Little Rock, Arkansas – Early on Sunday morning, North Little police officers were called to a house where a suspect was holed up.
According to NLRPD representatives, officers were called to a residence in the 700 block of West 16th Street just before 3:15 a.m. due to a disturbance with a weapon.
Police reported finding one person with disturbance-related injuries when they arrived. The person was transferred to a nearby hospital and is now stable, according to authorities.
According to the authorities, the suspect in the event barricaded themselves inside the house.
After several hours, police were able to apprehend the culprit, who was eventually identified as Trice Dawkins, 48.
A first-degree domestic battery charge is being brought against Dawkins. She was driven to the regional jail in Pulaski County, where she is being held without bond.
According to NLRPD officials, this is a continuing inquiry, and more details will be disclosed as soon as they become available.
