ASP looks for a suspect in the teen’s death following the Helena-West Helena prom

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Criminal Investigation Division of the Arkansas State Police is looking for a man from Helena who they believe killed a student following the Central High School Prom in Helena-West Helena.
Police have identified a suspect, 19-year-old Donterious Stephens, and they said in a release that he will face charges related to first-degree murder and possession of firearms by specific individuals. The culprit is currently being sought after.
According to the police, the incident happened at a post-prom gathering in West Helena that was held across the street from Ater Warehouse on Highway 49.
The news indicates that the event claimed the life of Lorenzo Harrison III, age 18.
We ask that anyone with knowledge regarding the suspect’s whereabouts call (870) 970-6082 to report it to PCSO or CID Company A.
To ascertain the cause and manner of death, an autopsy will be conducted on the dead at the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
