At Saline County’s Alcoa Exchange crossroads, drivers are advised to follow the signs

Saline County, Arkansas – The Bryant and Benton area has experienced considerable growth in Saline County. Some growth difficulties accompany that, particularly with regard to the crossroads close to the Alcoa Exchange shopping center.

Drivers can approach the signal and choose to continue through three lanes at the intersection of Alcoa Road and Alcoa Exchange.

You can travel in two lanes and choose to leave Alcoa Road to enter I-30 Frontage Road.

Some cars who use the access road to get to I-30 Frontage Road have been puzzled by the lane on the far right that is reserved for turning onto Alcoa Exchange.

The turn intended solely for Alcoa Exchange is “not meant” as a way to access I-30, according to Tim Fournier, the City of Bryant’s Public Works Director.

“That middle lane is the one that’s meant to take you to the highway on-ramp,” Fournier explained. “In order to help reduce the confusion, the signs were installed first, followed by the pavement and markings.”

To any people of Saline County who may be reading this, please note that the far right lane should only be utilized to enter the shopping complex.

Be mindful of the indicators. Take note of the markings. You’ll notice a lot of lane changes and swaps because developments are constantly taking place here,” Fournier explained.
