Authorities in North Little Rock have apprehended a second suspect in connection with the stabbing death that occurred in Velvet Ridge

North Little Rock, Arkansas – Authorities in North Little Rock have apprehended a second individual linked to the stabbing death that occurred last week.
Authorities from the North Little Rock Police Department reported the arrest of 28-year-old Darius Poole, a resident of Maumelle, on Wednesday. He is linked to the death of 38-year-old Charles “Bam” Watson.
On December 12, officers from the NLRPD arrived at the 5000 block of Velvet Ridge following reports of an injury incident. Upon their arrival, officers reported discovering Watson with stab wounds. Authorities reported that he subsequently passed away at a nearby hospital.
On Wednesday, authorities took into custody 30-year-old Braelon Stubenfield, who reportedly confessed to stabbing Watson following a dispute.
Poole and Stubenfield are currently charged with capital murder in relation to the death of Watson. The individuals are currently detained at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center, and no bond has been set for their release.
