Benton police issue arrest warrants for suspects in a petrol station shooting

Benton, Arkansas – On September 23, in the late afternoon, Benton police officers responded to a report of gunfire at the Highway 67 Big Red Valero.
Authorities found that a dispute between two drivers evolved into gunfire after conducting an investigation.
Both of the drivers, Benton residents Clifton Owens, 42, and Arnold Hendrix, 45, have warrants out for their arrest.
While Owens will face two counts of aggravated assault, Hendrix will face three counts of aggravated assault and possession of a handgun by certain people.
