Little Rock, Arkansas – This past Friday marked the opening of the 84th Arkansas State Fair, which is already attracting a significant number of attendees.
A throng of 44,498 people attended the opening day of the Arkansas State Fair, as reported by Tiffany Wilkerson, the general manager of the fair.
This figure is the highest opening day attendance compared to the previous ten years.
According to Wilkerson, “a great day at the Fair was contributed to by the combination of great weather and the pent-up excitement of fairgoers.”
The organizers have stated that they believe the increased numbers are due to the youth curfew restriction that is in place at the fair, in addition to the fact that there are over 40 rides and seven new food vendors.
