Changes and new people are coming to Arkansas

Little Rock, Arkansas – When the 94th General Assembly of Arkansas’s legislature convenes on January 9, there will be a few adjustments and some fresh faces.
The Arkansas House and Senate will have more than a quarter of new members. Due to term restrictions and the difficulties of the position, some lawmakers are switching from the House to the Senate, while others are resigning.
With Sarah Huckabee Sanders as the first female governor of Arkansas and the first child of a former governor, the executive branch is likewise undergoing change. Additionally, this is the first time that Arkansas has had consecutive Republican governors since the late 1860s.
