Little Rock, Arkansas – On Sunday, a number of community organizers met up close to Central High School to go on a peace walk with individuals of all sexual orientations, races, and religious beliefs.

The eighty-six-year-old Bob Reynolds says he has always supported togetherness and hopes that this gathering will help move things in the right direction.

Reynolds remarked, “Even though we differ in some ways, we are similar in many others.”

He asserts that in order to foster harmony and understanding among everybody, we can all learn to appreciate one another’s differences. Despite the pain in his knees, he continued to disseminate awareness of the message he has been teaching for years.

Reynolds remarked, “It’s not about me, it’s not about any individual, it’s about people as a whole; we have a lot in common.”

According to Reynolds, this endeavor teaches people the value of comprehending other communities that are different from their own.

Attendee Sharon Lanier feels that the event was a fantastic method to accomplish this.

“This is truly a chance to reconnect, unite the various communities, and rejoice alongside one another, honoring the diverse cultures that comprise our city,” Lanier stated.

Reynolds appreciates everyone who attended and is looking forward to next year.

She says the purpose of the walk was to give people a chance to get to know one another.

Reynolds plans to walk a mile. “I hope it happens again, and it grows and attracts more and more people every year,” Reynolds remarked.
