Conway police searching for man seen breaking into vehicles
Conway, Arkansas – Officers in Conway are looking for a man caught on doorbell camera looking into people’s homes and breaking into vehicles. The Conway Police Department posted photos of the man on their Facebook Monday afternoon.
Officers said on Monday morning they responded to a trespassing call on Poplar Avenue. An officer subsequently found a man walking near railroad tracks north on Davis Street where he was seen entering an unlocked vehicle. Nothing was taken from the vehicle, police said in the post.
An officer ran after the man, but lost sight of him, the post says. The officer then heard one gunshot.
Doorbell surveillance footage from Monday shows a white man in the area looking into the windows of a nearby home. Detectives have asked that anyone with information contact police at 501-450-6130.
