Conway sells a $100,000 Powerball ticket, increasing the jackpot to $1.04 billion

Conway, Arkansas – Although the Powerball jackpot is still rising, one player in Arkansas will take home a six-figure sum from this Saturday’s drawing.
For the Saturday night drawing, a $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Kum and Go gas station, which is situated at 2050 Dave Ward Drive in Conway. 19, 30, 37, 44, and 46 were the winning numbers; the Powerball’s multiplier was 2, and the numbers were 22 and 2.
The player matched the four white balls and the Powerball number, according to Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials. They then enhanced their $50,000 win to $100,000 by choosing to purchase the Power Play option, which costs an additional $1 for each play.
Eric Hagler, the executive director of the ASL, urged every participant to check their tickets and redeem their prize.
“We urge all players who played Powerball at this Kum & Go to check their tickets,” Hagler said. “The winner has 180 days from Sept. 30 to claim their prize.”
The Powerball grand prize has increased to $1.04 billion for Monday night’s drawing, with a cash value of $478.2 million, since no players have won the jackpot. At this point, the prize is the fourth-largest in Powerball history as well as the second-largest jackpot of the year.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday there are drawings. Tickets are available at all lottery shops for $2.
According to ASL authorities, since 2009, the lottery has raised over $1.3 billion to support over 720,000 college scholarships throughout the state.
