Customers of Arvest Bank alerted to text scams
Little Rock, Arkansas – Customers of one bank are being alerted to text message fraud.
Customers receive a text message from scammers informing them of odd attempts made on their account, along with an account verification link to click.
“The important thing is slow down. Take a moment before you react to the message,” said Tara Muck a spokesperson for Arvest “It’s better to be careful than fall victim to a scam, and when in doubt, contact the organization directly.”
Muck suggested putting a freeze on your account if any illegal charges occur.
