Eight years later, the Conway family is still investigating a loved one’s death
Conway, Arkansas – Terry Credit was killed at his Oakwood Village Mobile Homes in Conway eight years ago, and his family says the last eight years have been difficult because his killer is still at large.
According to Conway police, his body was discovered on August 17 at around 2:30 a.m. The family now remembers this day to celebrate his life.
Terry’s sister Victoria Credit stated, “We are still looking for justice and on that note we love you, we miss you,” as she let go of a balloon into the sky.
She claims that since Terry’s killer gets away with it and all they have left are memories, their situation is unfair.
Victoria stated, “And that’s all we want is justice for his life; I think we deserve that much.”
According to Victoria, her brother was shot twice.
Victoria stated, “The first bullet just missed his foot, and the second one struck him in the chest.”
Regretfully, Conway Police still have no clues on the identity of the murderer.
Terry’s older brother is Charles Credit. He claims that the agony worsens yearly.
“It is painful not to have justice because that was my only brother—it was only our sisters and me,” Charles remarked.
He claims that the fact that Terry was a kind man who didn’t deserve this and is left to wonder every year is why it’s still unsettling.
“What made you murder my brother? I know my brother wasn’t a nasty guy, but it’s just not justice for someone to take his life in this manner and be alive today, Charles remarked.
The Credits express their hope that someone would soon be held responsible.
