Farmers’ Market season is here

Paragould, Arkansas – On the first day of the Paragould Farmers’ Market, the sun was shining.
On Saturday, May 11, the Paragould Farmers’ Market officially opened for the season.
From handmade soaps and jewelry to fresh produce and meats, local sellers had it all. Miranda Reynolds, a member of the Paragould Farmers’ Market Committee, stated that this is the venue where small enterprises should thrive.
“You are truly going to see homemade, handcrafted, or homegrown and we take pride in that,” Reynolds said.
Reynolds expressed his admiration for the turnout, stating that more customers came out today than during the season-opening last year. 2,100 shoppers in total, she added, was the previous year.
“Right now we are sitting at 2,400 shoppers,” Reynolds said.
The market will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through September 28 in case you were unable to make it on opening day.
201 E. Court Street is where you can find the Paragould Farmers Market. You can access the online application by clicking this link if you want to become a vendor.
