Friend speaks out after the shooting death of the Conway High School secretary on Friday night

Conway, Arkansas – According to Conway Police, a triple shooting on Friday night resulted in two fatalities and one seriously injured person.

Prince Micheal Ajetunmobi, the suspect, shot himself during a pursuit on Friday night and later passed away in the hospital.

Paula Prock, a close friend of the victim who was fatally shot, is speaking out about what it’s like to lose someone.

“You felt like you were sitting there in a nightmare whether you knew them or not,” Prock said.

Paula Prock spent her Friday night out having fun. “Trying to actually tell yourself this was really happening while we were in Cabot trying to enjoy a football game was beyond anything imaginable,” Prock said.

She recalled feeling like she had been hit in the gut when she first heard the news. I wasn’t even able to think clearly, Prock admitted.

that Kori Bartholomew, a friend she had known for nine years, had been shot and murdered.

“It was a shock, just absolute shock,” Prock stated.

Prock had just talked to Bartholomew Thursday night. Prock’s last message from her, “she made the comment about how Addie always loved her first-grade teacher Mrs. Prock, and I’ve probably read that 100 times since Thursday night,” stated Prock.

Bartholomew worked as the Conway High School secretary. “The biggest thing about Kori was that she literally was genuinely beautiful. She is seriously that representative inside and out. You couldn’t explain it better… to know her was to absolutely love her,” Prock said.

According to Paula Prock, there is now a huge hole in the office. “I’m taking lunch over there on Wednesday and I am dreading it because it is just so, what do you say, you know honestly, what do you say,” said Prock.

Prock is now considering Bartholomew’s children who were also mothers and are also grieving.

“These two girls that have literally gotten their mom taken from them for senseless acts of ridiculousness,” stated Prock.

Nothing, according to Paula Prock, will be able to bring her friend back, but she is grateful to live in a neighborhood where people have joined together to help Kori’s family.

According to Prock, Kori will be remembered for being stunning and for having a smile that brightens any space.
