Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced great news for Arkansans at a press conference
Gov. Asa Hutchinson and Arkansas Department of Health Secretary Jose R. Romero announced great news at a press conference regarding the state’s response to Covid-19.
The state’s revenue report continues to show improvement of the economy, daily Covid-19 cases continue to decrease and allowing the 11 p.m. curfew for restaurant and bars to expire.
It was also said at the press conference that Arkansas would receive an additional 5% of vaccine supplies by end of the week.
“Arkansas is moving in the right direction in terms of cases and hospitalizations, but it is not the time to relax. We should continue wearing masks, maintaining social distance and washing our hands,” dr. Jose R. Romero said.
They encourage Arkansas residents to get vaccinated, saying the vaccines are studied, safe and effective.
