Homeless man arrested for masturbating in front of child at North Little Rock bus stop
LITTLE ROCK — A homeless man was arrested for masturbating in front of a 3-year-old at a bus stop in North Little Rock on Friday, according to an arrest report.
A woman told police she and her 3-year-old daughter were sitting near a bus stop at 2224 Pike Avenue when her daughter pointed to a man exposing himself to them. The man was reportedly masturbating and yelling profanities. The woman began recording him and showed police the video.
Officers arrested 58-year-old William Taylor Jr. “for his safety and the safety of others,” according to the report. Taylor reportedly smelled like drugs or alcohol and had watery eyes, slurred speech and unsteady balance. He was taken to the Pulaski County jail.
Taylor is facing charges of public intoxication and sexual indecency with a child — a class D felony. He is set to appear in court next week.
