Interstate 40 lane closures on Monday and Tuesday

Little Rock, Arkansas – Lane closures for Interstate 40 in North Little Rock are anticipated on Monday and Tuesday, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation.
From 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, the left lane of westbound I-40 at the Exit 152B/I-30 west ramp will be closed.
On Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., alternate I-40 westbound lanes along the Exit 153B/I-30 west ramp and alternate I-40 eastbound lanes along the Exit 153B/I-30 west ramp will be blocked.
At the Arkansas River Bridge, all lanes will reopen.
According to ARDOT officials, weather permitting, the closure will enable workers to apply a high-friction surface treatment to the pavement, reducing the likelihood of hydroplaning in slick conditions and improving road safety.
