Little Rock chiropractor hopes to help small businesses

Little Rock, Arkansas — In order to promote helping small businesses, one local chiropractor opened a $100 tab at a Little Rock coffee house.
A chiropractor at The Specific Chiropractic Centers, Cameron Daniels, posted that he had opened the $100 dollar tab on social media.
He frequents Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee off Interstate 430 and decided to do it after recalling the difficulties faced by small businesses amid the pandemic. “When people get their free cup of coffee, I want them to feel like they’re supporting local business,” said Daniels. “Even if they’re putting it on my tab they’re still generating traffic for the business that they’re going into.”
According to the Director of retail operations at Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee, Lindsey Kendrick, she thought it was kind of Daniels to offer a free cup of coffee to people he doesn’t know. “It honestly can brighten someone’s day,” said Kendrick. “Someone could be having a bad day and somebody offers to buy them a coffee. I think that could change their whole perspective on their day.”
She’s grateful for the gesture because it could bring more people into their shop after their business has overcome economic challenges brought on by the pandemic, Kendrick said. “What we revenue here is all we are working with,” said Kendrick. “There’s been challenges with price increases on products, trouble getting products, and all those obstacles that we face.”
