Midday shooting in Little Rock left mother and child wounded

Little Rock, Arkansas – Little Rock police are investigating a shooting that occurred near the I-430 and exit 128 in Little Rock.
The incident left two victims with non-life-threatening injuries.
The individuals wounded by gunfire from a passing vehicle in the southbound lanes of I-430 near Stagecoach Road were identified as 20-year-old Kenya Mitchell and her 2-year-old son.
Both were transported to a local hospital and were reported to have non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
The gunshot victims were in a car being driven by 19-year-old Jayden Bryant of Little Rock.
At the time of the incident, however, Bryant was not injured.
