North Little Rock’s mayor, Terry Hartwick, imposes a curfew
Little Rock, Arkansas – Terry Hartwick, the mayor of North Little Rock, has proclaimed a state of emergency and imposed a curfew in some parts of the city.
The curfew will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. on April 2 to 6:00 a.m. on April 3 on Monday.
The areas covered are listed as follows:
• Burns Park
• Sierra Madre
• Amboy
• Ranch Estates
• Foxboro
• Alta Vista
• Donovan Briley Road Area
• Oakview
• Remount Road
• Kierre Road area
• Cobblestone
• Indian Hills
• Shady Valley
• Windsor Valley
No one should be on public roadways, sidewalks, parks, or other public properties during the curfew hours, according to a news release.
The following situations are exempt from the curfew:
• Government employees performing official duties
• Properly credentialed members of the recognized local and national media performing official duties
• Licensed medical personnel performing official duties
• Persons on regularly scheduled public traPersonserosns in direct route to and from a place of employment and place of residence with no more than two non-family members
• Persons in direct route to and from the place of residence and an establishment that provides medical or pharmacy services, with no more than two non-family members
• Persons responding to a bona fide emergency.
