Officer Norman is preserving memories in Norman’s neighborhood for future generations

North Little Rock, Arkansas – Every door that Officer Tommy Norman knocks on has a unique connection.
Three-year-old Zayvion, who his family calls Dookie, and fifteen-year-old Taleah were behind a certain door.
Norman remarked, “Dookie is checking the window to see if it’s Officer Norman when I pull up.”
Since 1998, Officer Norman has been in law enforcement.
He has since developed relationships with a wide range of people, from children to adults.
Many of those children have grown up, found employment, been married, or had children of their own.
Norman remarked, “I don’t think they see the uniform when I pull up.” “They spot a pal.”
Well before Taleah and Dookie were even born, the friendship with this family began.
Taleah is 15 years old, and their mother Dominique met Officer Norman when she was 15 years old.
“He’s always been a boon.” “Officer Norman is loved by us,” Dominique remarked. “Her mother and Officer Norman have been friends for more than 20 years.”
Taleah emailed Officer Norman multiple times when she was around eleven years old with the hopes of meeting him.
Norman remarked, “I feel like she wanted to be a part of that after hearing about my friendship with her mom.”
