One youngster is killed and one is injured in an ATV accident in Malvern

Malvern, Arkansas – On Saturday night in Malvern, an ATV accident claimed the life of one youngster and injured another.
The ATV slipped off the right side of the road as it was being driven by a young child north on Dyer Street, according to reports from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety. The vehicle skidded off the road to the left after the minor overcorrected. After that, the car struck a ditch.
The car then rolled over, throwing a young passenger out, and landing on top of the child. Later, it flipped over one more before finally resting on its side.
The body of the deceased youngster was sent to a nearby funeral home, while the injured minor was taken to the hospital, where it is unknown what condition they are in.
This incident is still under investigation.
