Pulaski Academy senior accepted to 4 Ivy League universities
Little Rock, Arkansas – After getting accepted to 16 colleges thus far, four of which are Ivy League universities, a senior at Pulaski Academy will have to make a difficult choice over where to pursue higher education.
Nora Ali has a lengthy resume of achievements in the classroom. She is the vice president of the Mayor’s Youth Council of Arkansas, the president of the Pulaski Academy Student Council, and the president of the Model U.N. Public Relations.
She also advocates for more accommodative laws and policies as the chair of the environmental committee.
In addition, she holds the title of editor for the Veritas Literary Art journal and is certified as bilingual in Arabic. Her father, Dr. Ahmed A. Ali, announced that his daughter has received full-ride scholarships to Hendrix as well as acceptances to Harvard, Colombia, U Penn, Cornell, NYU, Rice, UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Davis, University of Virginia, Emory, UC San Diego, Rhodes, Loyola, and UMKC Accelerated MD Track.
Ali intends to major in African American Studies and Biology.
