Renovations to the North Little Rock Animal Shelter are currently being built
North Little Rock, Arkansas – The North Little Rock Animal Shelter is being renovated and expanded with the support of a $630,000 project made possible by the American Rescue Plan Act.
“These animals deserve the best care,” said Adam Tindall, director of the North Little Rock Animal Shelter.
Tindall declared, “There will be a significant difference.” “You should always improve your facilities; adjustments must be made gradually.”
According to Tindall, they serve as a temporary home rather than just a shelter. Until the animals find their forever home, North Little Rock is working to make it the greatest place for them.
“When you walk in, it doesn’t look like they are just sitting in a cell,” Tindall stated. “We are trying to make it a little bit more friendly.”
The outside, entrances, and offices have been completely renovated, along with new flooring and drains to help with safety and floods.
Health is crucial in this situation because, as Tindall noted, “there are a lot of different diseases and things that can happen, especially with animals.” “You know they can’t express their negative emotions to you.”
It is anticipated that the development would be finished before the start of 2025.
