Russellville man turned himself in after months of hiding, charged with homicide in deadly ‘hunting accident’

Little Rock, Arkansas – Russellville turned himself in on Monday wanted for January incident of what appears to be a homicide police say.
According to them, the 25-year-old Scott Douthit is charged with manslaughter for a shooting that was primarily reported as hunting incident.
The incident took place near the Holla Bend National Wildlife Refuge in Carden Bottoms in January. When police arrived at the scene, they found the 20-year-old Jared Sykes dead with a gunshot wound.
The autopsy showed the cause of the death was homicide.
Douthit was being held in the Yell County jail.
