Springdale woman dies in single vehicle fatal crash on Highway 72
Conway, Arkansas – Monday night crash on Highway 72 was fatal for one Springdale woman police say.
According to report, the crash happened in Benton County, east of Pea Ridge just after 9:30 p.m.
Mazda 6 driving westbound on Highway 72 crossed the middle line, went into the opposite direction lanes and ran off the road to the left. The vehicle then hit a fence and a culvert, causing it to go airborne.
The Springdale and another passenger in the car were injured. The third passenger 41-year-old Cheryl Vicnair died as a result of the injuries.
Police didn’t provide details on the condition of the other passenger in the car.
Conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash.
