Suspect in custody after AR school lockdown

Helena, Arkansas – According to school officials, an intruder was reported on campus Friday morning at an elementary school in Helena, and the building was placed on lockdown.
According to a Facebook post from Mid-Head Delta’s Start account, J.F. Wahl Elementary School went into lockdown at around 10:15 in the morning.
All faculty and employees complied with the security procedures, according to MDHS, with the aid of the neighborhood police and fire agencies.
The man who allegedly went to the school and threatened to shoot his ex-girlfriend was captured by the Helena police.
The lockdown was removed, and no one was hurt, according to officials.
