The LIHEAP application for winter utility bill assistance is now available

Little Rock, Arkansas – Entergy Arkansas customers who require assistance with winter power bills can now apply for the federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

From January 6 through the end of March, or until the funds are used up, the application window will be available. Assistance of up to $475 is available to you.

In Arkansas, household size and income—which is 150% of the Federal Poverty Level and 60% of the state median income—determine eligibility for LIHEAP.

Digital copies of the account holder’s photo ID, copies of the most current utility bills, proof of income, evidence of domicile, and Social Security cards for each household member are required.
