What central Arkansas restaurants are opening and closing

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Arkansas culinary scene is in a fun phase right now. There are so many new eateries starting up here, and others are now growing.
Although there has been a lot of positive food news, this week’s Eat It Up also includes some depressing information about restaurant closures.
Two new brunch spots will soon be available in Little Rock.
Just announced this week is the opening of City Silo, a Memphis-based eatery whose goal is to “reimagine comfort food with wholesome, clean ingredients” regardless if you’re an “omnivore, vegan, or vegetarian”, according to their website.
Sometime in 2023, City Silo will begin operations in the former Pei Wei facility in Little Rock’s Promenade.
Another well-known mini-chain is The Toasted Yolk, which is renowned for its mouthwatering brunch menu. Although the company had earlier stated that they will open the doors this month, as of this week, construction at the restaurant on Chenal Parkway is still ongoing.
A new Wright’s BBQ location is one of the most exciting prospects coming to central Arkansas.
You might recall Eat It Up broke the story that the well-known BBQ restaurant in northwest Arkansas intended to expand into central Arkansas. We now know that they’ll be relocating to the Riverdale neighborhood’s Yellow Rocket Concepts headquarters.
What about the day they intend to start business? Nevertheless, owner Jordan Wright, a native of Hot Springs, had informed us that they intended to launch in 2023.
Speaking of expanding, the well-known mini-chain Chicken Salad Chick keeps up its quick penetration of the market in central Arkansas.
This week, their West Little Rock branch on Chenal Parkway became the newest to welcome customers.
Another company is also continuing its quick expansion into central Arkansas. Construction has begun on 7-Brew Coffee’s newest drive-thru coffee shop. This one will be situated where Shorty Smalls once called Rodney Parham home.
Although there has been a lot of good news, there has also been some unpleasant news.
Gusano’s Pizza used to be located right down the street, however that is no longer the case.
The well-liked Chicago-style pizzeria abruptly closed. This is the same place where Grubbs used to live.
